Never-ending violence

This innocent girl is barely 6. Fate gave her problems she can’t fix. Hanaa lives with her stepmom and dad, who always beat her really bad. Her mother fled her dad’s violence, but Hanaa is stuck in this nonsense. But everything changes when there are guests, that is when the violent father rests.

I learned of Hanaa from the neighbor next door. When did our humanity reach such a low floor? There might be a Hanaa everywhere we look, but we the children of Syria will get Hanaa off the hook.
