Abdallah and his drawings
As young as a flower, and as brave as lions, he challenged war and sadness and leaped over borders, to excel with his lines.
It’s Abdallah al-Nasser, age ten. He draws his flowers and creations with his pen. He fills in his drawings with a hint of every shade, so they become a space where his emotions cascade.
He gleefully told me: I love drawing so much that I cannot enough stress and I thank Beyond and Unicef for letting me and my friends express. But I just hope to go back to my beautiful house in lovely Syria.
